Explore Dublin city through a whole new lens on the magical Dublin City Council TwinkleTrail. The city centre will be Twinkled with beautiful light cubes, stunning displays and inspired illuminations giving the city centre a whole new Twinkle life this festive season.

O’Connell Street
With giant sparkling reindeers, a magnificent Christmas tree festooned with lights, colourful light boxes with festive Christmas images, a huge Love Dublin sign and a big star for selfies as well as eight colourful light projections that dance across the GPO, it's a great time to visit O'Connell Street.
Mansion House
Step through the glimmering archways and into a magical world of twinkling lights, Shooting Stars & Carol Performances in the courtyard. Under shimmering fairy lights, take a photo in the beautiful, fully accessible sleigh. Be part of a Dublin Christmas tradition by visiting the IFA Live Animal Crib to meet the friendly donkeys, sheep, and goats in a warm and welcoming setting.
Barnardo Square
Enjoy the festive atmosphere surrounded by fantastic Christmas light projections. There's a colourful advent calendar light projection on City Hall and wonderful images by talented young artists showing how Dublin City Centre Twinkles at Christmas projected onto the side of Palace Street Building. With a magical giant Twinkling star for selfies, it's a great place to be!

Dynamic digital projections of stunning artworks by 8 leading national and international digital artists will feature on this iconic building.
The Spire
The Spire will become a beacon of light visible for miles around with beams of light projecting into the sky.
O’Connell Street - Trees
Colour changing LED lighting will transform the trees along O’Connell Street.
Dublin Castle - Courtyard
‘Flux’ from French artists collective ‘SCALE’ redesigns its surroundings and offers a unique, playful and frenetic show in which the choreography intimately dialogues with the music.
Dublin Castle - Lower Yard
A video mapping artwork from artist Jack Phelan will projected on to a neo-classical building in the lower yard of Dublin Castle.
Palace Street Gate
The archway to Dublin Castle will be transformed with dynamic light projections, becoming a colourful entrance that leads to two light displays in Dublin Castle.
Palace Street
The artworks from the annual Children’s Winter Art competition will be projected onto the side of Palace Street.
City Hall
The colourful video mapping from Lightscape Studios projected onto City Hall will have an advent calendar theme.
Newcomen Bank
In collaboration with Belfast’s Visual Spectrum Studios, 'Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights' will present a video mapping on the former Newcomen Bank.
