A huge thank you to all the children who took part in the annual ‘Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights’ Children’s Art Competition.
We really enjoyed seeing ‘Christmas magic in Dublin city’ brought to life with creativity, colour and artistic skill. This year over 370 children took part.

The top three entries were awarded a prize by the Lord Mayor of Dublin Daithí de Róiste, with those designs used as the Lord Mayor’s official Christmas card for 2023. You can see the three outstanding pieces of children’s artwork that captured the magic of Christmas in Dublin below. Each artwork features an iconic Dublin landmark and resonates with its unique storytelling, colours and imaginative details, showcasing the young artists’ incredible talent and passion.
