Welcome To Dublin Winter Lights

Dublin City Council are delighted to announce the welcome return of Dublin Winter Lights from Mid-November to January 1st 2023 with an ever expanding and exciting Festival programme. This year will see the return of popular locations such as Merrion Square Park and will see the introduction of new installations in Smithfield Square, Dublin Docklands, Bridgefoot Street Park, The Spire and the River Liffey. Dublin Winter Lights is an event catering for all ages so bring your family and friends. This year’s programme will also feature designs from a team of talented artists, see below for a full list of locations. Experience Dublin City Centre in a whole new light and feel the magic this festive season.

Children's corner

As part of this year’s Children’s art competition, Barnardo’s Square will host festive artwork submitted by school children from across the city and will provide a platform for the great wealth of young emerging artistic talent in Dublin City.
