Metanoia Creatives

Julie Tampierová, Jakub Nosek and Denisa Pubalova are interdisciplinary artists and creative technologists who form Metanoia Creatives. Their work explores different digital audiovisual techniques and has been seen by audiences throughout Europe. Their artwork, Intersperse, was an immersive concept that combines two artistic approaches – colour fields and optical illusions. Colour field painting combined with geometrical patterns to achieve the illusion of colour and space wrapping viewers into one whole symbiotic organism. The video mapping was accompanied by a subtle, surround soundscape.

Accepting the award for National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Metanoia Creatives said, “We are beyond thrilled to be chosen by the judges as the winners this year. Our journey as a creative collective properly began last year at this very same festival. So Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights holds a very special place in our hearts as it was the first big videomapping we’ve done and now it is also our first time winning a competition. We are grateful to be featured amongst all of the talented artists, many of whom have been our inspiration for years.”
