Christopher Harrisson

Christopher is a multi-disciplinary storyteller whose work is unified by a desire to tell accessible and engaging narratives. His artwork, Infinite, explores the themes of growth and renewal, reflecting the ever-changing balance between nature and human progress. A lush forest is destroyed to house a giant machine before nature reclaims its space. Combining hand-drawn 2D elements, motion graphics and archive images, the animation is accompanied by an original music score.

Christopher Harrisson won the top prize in the international Dublin City Council Dublin Winter Lights’ GPO Competition. Accepting the award for the GPO, Christopher Harrisson said, “I am delighted that Infinite has been selected by the jury as the winner of the GPO projection mapping contest. I loved working with such an iconic building, which is a fantastic canvas for exploring such big themes. Thank you to Dublin City Council and the jury; as an artist, it means the world to me that my work was selected and had such an impact.”
